Rebecca Kay, your True Blue Independent MP for Bankstown

Bankstown has been neglected and ignored by both major parties for decades.

Bankstown is a major city in the Sydney Metropolitan area, with more traffic congestion than Parramatta but less services and facilities than outer woop woop.

The Liberals are not interested in spending on Bankstown because they know it has always been a high margin Labor seat.

Labor takes Bankstown for granted because they have always won this seat with a clear majority.

Did you know that Bankstown Council voted to move the Bankstown Library to the Town Hall and to leave the residents of Bankstown without a Town Hall.  Now, the Mayor of Bankstown is running for Labor.

Do you see all the eight storey buildings around Bankstown?

Have you tried to shop at Centro on Saturdays?

Have you tried to navigate your car through South Terrace at school knock off time or through Rickard Rd. In the late afternoon?

Did you know that there is a brothel within 150 of a public school in Yagoona and another outside a park in Greenacre where our children play?

What is Labor doing about that?

These have become no-go-zones for Bankstown residents because of poor council planning and ongoing Labor neglect of the electorate.

Did you know that the NSW Labor Government  has just signed a deal to increase traffic and noise at Bankstown Airport.

Did you know that the NSW Labor Government has just built housing ghettos for the elderly and social disadvantaged with more than 100 residential units in Yagoona and Bass Hill?

Multi storey residential buildings without facilities for children is not healthy for families or children.

Lidcombe hospital was shut down by the Labor Government and Bankstown is still a small hospital with inadequate parking or facilities.

Well Bankstown deserves more, Bankstown deserves modern facilities, Bankstown needs Rebecca Kay for a better future for us and for our children.

Rebecca Kay is a Bankstown mother of four who will fiercely advocate for Bankstown to ensure that we have the best facilities and best resources.

Let’s shake the major parties, let’s show them that this generation of Aussies expect better: Vote Rebecca Kay for a brighter future.
